Earlier this morning, former beauty queen Dabota Lawson took to her Instagram page to make a rather sad post on the decisions she made in her life and how she regrets ever making such decisions.
Many have since been sending in their words of encouragements and one of the those that offered advises is her good bosom friend Toke Makinwa who admonished the ex beauty queen to move on with her life as she is bound to make more mistakes in life.

Hey baby cakes, I know you think you’ve got it all figured out but who are we without our flaws? Who are we without our mistakes? We will still make some more.
Regret is so exhausting, forgive yourself. We don’t forgive ourselves enough. Oprah said “forgiveness is letting go of the hope that the past could have been any different”.

Falz Slams NBC With A Lawsuit
Award-winning Nigerian singer, Falz has filed papers in court challenging the ban placed by the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) on his song, “This is Nigeria”.
The court documents were filed through Falz’s lawyers, Adepetun Caxton-Martins Agbor & Segun (ACAS-Law), on November, 6, 2018, three months after the NBC sent a letter to JODAJ Global Communications Limited in Jos sanctioning them for playing Falz’s song, “This Is Nigeria” and banning the song from being played on radio, along with other songs.
In the letter sent to JODAJ Global Communications Limited, NBC stated that the reason for banning This Is Nigeria is that the lyrics are vulgar and in contravention of the NBC Code.
A lot of Nigerians, including celebrities, criticized NBC for the ban, stating it was ridiculous, but the ban was upheld.
Falz had hinted in an interview granted in August that he would write to the NBC to seek a justification for the ban and if necessary, seek legal redress in the courts. He has now followed through on his words by taking legal action against the regulatory body.
The singer, who is also a lawyer, has taken steps in engaging his lawyers, ACAS-Law, to institute an action against the NBC challenging the ban.
The Originating Summons reveals that Falz is seeking, among other things, for:
1. A declaration that the Defendant’s prohibition of the Plaintiff’s song titled “This Is Nigeria” from being aired by the Nigerian media outfits on the pretext that same is laced with vulgar lyrics is in flagrant breach of the Plaintiff’s right to the freedom of thought, conscience and expression as guaranteed under Sections 38 and 39 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended) and to that extent, such prohibition is unconstitutional, null and void.
2. An Order of this Honourable Court setting aside and/or vacating the decision of the Defendant as contained in the letter dated 6th August 2018 and lifting the ban or proscription of the use of the Plaintiff’s song titled, “This Is Nigeria” by any and all Nigerian media outfit/organizations.
3. The sum of N100,000,000 (One Hundred Million Naira to the Plaintiff on the footing of aggravated and exemplary damages for the wrongful and unconstitutional acts of the Defendant.

Breaking: INEC releases list of 67 governorship candidates for 2019 election
Vanguard reports that INEC released 67 names including that of the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Emeka Ihedioha, in Imo state. Nwosu, son-in-law to the Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha, and Senator Uzodinma have been laying claims to the candidacy. Okorocha has, however insisted that Nwosu is the authentic winner of the controversial APC primary election in the state.
In a statement circulated to journalists on Thursday, November 8, by his chief press secretary, Sam Onwuemeodo, the governor alleged that Senator Uzodinma was burdened by at least two criminal cases, besides standing on a wealth of unknown means, including issuance of dud cheques. "Chief Uzodinma should face his two most recent criminal charges over the issuance of dud cheque and non-declaration of assets. We won’t talk about other similar cases.
“He has never attended any APC meeting either in his ward or in his local government, Oru-East, or at the state level. “That is why no APC member in the state was excited when the party’s national chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, announced him as his preferred governorship candidate of the party in the state,” he said.

RICK ROSS NAMES HIS NEW BABY BOY BILLION
Rick Ross' family gets a bit bigger. Yesterday (Nov. 6), the MMG boss welcomed a new baby boy into the world. The "Green Gucci Suit" rapper, who's expected to appear on the Creed II soundtrack, used his Twitter account to make the announcement.
"Let’s all welcome my son ‘Billion Leonard Roberts’ to the world 🌍... 🙏🏽," tweeted Rozay, revealing a very unusual name in the process. He didn't reveal the identity of the mother.
Billion Leonard Roberts comes a little over a year after Rozay welcomed his first child with fitness model Briana Camille. Ross now has four children including his eldest daughter, and his first born son from Tia Kemp, who has beefed with the Rather You Than Me rapper about child support in the past.
Now that his newborn son has finally arrived, we remain hopeful that Ross will give us another update on his upcoming album Port Of Miami 2. This past summer, the MMG boss gave us a quick revelation about the sequel to his debut album. Ross said that the album will be influenced by various cities around the world that he's visited recently.
"Port of Miami 2 will have sprinkles of flavor from all these dope countries/cities I’ve visited in last few months," the rapper wrote on Twitter this past July.
Prior to that tweet, Ross gave us a hint about which cities will make an impact by stating that the Dominican Republic should be on everyone's bucket list, "fuck the budget."

Mac Miller's death ruled accidental overdose of fentanyl, cocaine, and alcohol
Miller, whose real name was Malcolm McCormick, was found unresponsive on his bed at his home in the Los Angeles area on Sept. 7 by his assistant, according to the coroner’s report. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. Alcohol and drug paraphernalia were found; however, TMZ reported the house was mostly “swept clean” before investigators arrived. According to the report, “a white powdery substance, non-prescribed medication, prescription medication, and a rolled 20 dollar bill with white powder residue were collected from the scene and booked into evidence.”
Miller’s male assistant told cops he was not aware of the rapper consuming any alcohol, prescription medication, or drugs the night prior. According to the report, “he said that [Miller] had been in good spirits and had many positive, on going projects.” However, he admitted that Miller, who had a history of drug addiction, was known to abuse “alcohol, non-prescribed medication (specifically Xanax and unspecified opiates), and cocaine.” He said the rapper had “several recent ‘slips,'” the most recent being on Sept. 4.
The night before his death, Miller was reportedly casually hanging out with friends and was watching football. An unnamed insider told People “this is such a shock. Everyone who he worked with was aware that he was delicate, but thought it was because of the new album, nerves, nothing like this.” He released his fifth and final album, Swimming, which addressed his struggles with substance abuse, on Aug. 3.
Miller’s ex-girlfriend, Ariana Grande, took the news of his death hard. She has been honoring him on social media and with her latest single, “Thank u, next.”
Fans were able to honor the late rapper last week with the “Mac Miller: A Celebration of Life” tribute concert. The concert, which featured performances by Chance the Rapper, John Mayer, and Travis Scott, marked the launch of the Mac Miller Circles Fund, a charity to “support youth arts and community-building programs in Mac Miller’s memory.”
